International Seminar: “Emerging new skills for health professionals
in the light of current challenges: opportunities for international
collaboration”
The School of Medicine of the University of Naples Federico II, chaired
by Professor Maria Triassi, is resuming its international meetings.
In the seminar, held by Professor Regina Roller-Wirnsberger of the Medical
University of Graz, entitled 'Emerging new skills for health professionals
in the light of current challenges: opportunities for international
collaboration', is disciussed the theme of the close connection between
health and social services, with the university being called to play
a crucial role and to propose integrated projects.
In this interview, carried out during Professor Roller-Wirnsberger's
visit to Naples, is discussed the theme of emerging competencies for
health professionals, developed through data sharing in international
collaboration. Social and health systems are called upon to integrate
their action, explains the Austrian professor.
Maria Triassi introduces a proactive approach to health, focusing on
prevention and the centrality of the patient/citizen, in the light of
new European programming.
